Danny Halpin: The wheels survived the Lake District, my first impressions are really positive.

I fitted 47mm Specialized Tracers which measured 50mm on the wheels and although only tangible , the extra internal width makes a noticeable improvement to how the tyres respond and feel.

I think I’ll be able to further improve on this as I dial in the tyre pressures as I think they were a couple of psi too high on the day.

They handled a tricky MTB trail very well both going down and then back up it when I realised, I’d gone the wrong way.

I’ll be happy to give some more feedback once I’ve got a few more weeks on them.
